              Its not attached to the radiator, its attached to the fan shroud.

                      Yup, a friend had a 92 325is and that's how it was set up.

                        So since the M42 is a late body only motor, how tough is it to install a late body radiator into an early chassis? Can I just use the early mounts and ignore the sides?

                          its an m42 rad.... perfect boltin for an m50 swap. You anly need the lat modle top mount. IMHO it is the best rad for the job

                            Unless you live in the desert. I love how it cleans up the cooling system, but I'd be worried about the cooling efficiency.
