Size of fuel lines under M50 manifold?

My manifold didn't come with the metal supply or return lines, so I need to either buy some or make up some of my own. What size are they, 8mm or something? Also is there supposed to be an in-line fuel filter on the supply side by the manifold?

You can put the filter anywhere in the supply side. The stock e30 locations work great.

I would replace the hardlines, they are an awesome feature when you use them properly.

They are 8mm OD, but flared. The proper fuel hose is BMW 8x13.

Thanks. New ones are like $45 for the pair. I'll just buy some 5/16 steel tubing and bend my own...I thought about just using fuel hose, but would rather have metal under the manifold just in case...

Just using hose is likely better than anything you'll bend or flare yourself.
