Lee's brakes look great. I really have to ball up and get my self a set.

I really hope you are going to be running brake ducts with those ltw. rotors. They are your heatsink and with limited material they really need to be kept cool. The heat has to go somewhere...

I dropped a valve and all hell broke lose. i cant say i didnt get my fun out of that motor even though it was short lived. i cant wait to get my car back on the road. I am building an s50 currently with eagle rods and cp pistons and full head work but in order to get the car on the road sooner im puting an m52 with thicker headgasket and the cams from my blown engine. I figure i can probably make around 500hp on the m52 and that should keep me happy until the built motor is ready.
Just to let you know, the M52 is proven to just over 700whp on stock bottom end before blowing. Not sure how long it'd last, but good to know you have a fairly large safety margin.

What type of power are you expecting to make on the S50? Doing headwork seems kind of over-kill (not to mention uber expensive).

That turbo is a TRM Stage 2 compressor with a T4 turbine housing that shipped by accident (we didn't check inside the box from SPA). We'll be getting the right one out to him ASAP.

The parts are excellent. SPA does casting for a lot of OEs in South America. I would guess the SPA M50 turbo manifold is the leading choice of e36 DIY turbo people.

Other SPA turbo parts are available from TRM: http://www.racersmarket.net/catalog/...172c33f655979e

Does anyone have any pics of their intercooler setups on dohc turbo swaps?

Im going to start plumbing up the fuel and brake systems when i get back from barber motorsports park on monday. Im having to make all new brake lines front the rear for the twin mc system im using. I cant wait to get this car on the road.

I ended up using a spec clutch, Megan racing intercooler, Turbo xs rfl BOV, tial 38mm wastegate, Im using 3" charge pipes and a 4" exhaust made by me.

Are you keeping AC? If you're willing to get rid of AC and do some serious cutting, a HUGE IC fits between the bumper rails right in front of the radiator.
