That sounds about right. Your 3.73 helped a lot.

My car is faster than e36 M3s, and it's just a mostly stock 2.5l.

I toyed with a couple e46's when I first go mine done, had roughly a car length on them by 75. I loved the look on their faces. :)

Now dont street race! :P and this line cracks me up, and sounds so ghey, "I hear exhaust behind me and see a nice MCoupe. He flashes his high beams at me letting me know he want to race me."

    LOL

    started a topic E30 S50 vs. Z4 MCoupe

    E30 S50 vs. Z4 MCoupe

    My mods:
    Supersprint replica headers
    2.5'' single pipe header back
    3.5'' HFM
    24# inj.
    Stickley chip
    JB Racing 10# LTW flywheel
    3.73 LSD (stock on E30)

Also CF hood, a/c removed, and 50#'s of tar removed from trunk

    His car/mods:

    Full Supersprint exhaust
    EvoSport tune
    something else I think

Dynoed 302rwhp on Dynamics Dyno (not shoot out mode, I believe it reads on par with Mustang dynos)

I heading to the dealer to pick up some parts. I was sitting 1st in line at an intersection. I hear exhaust behind me and see a nice MCoupe. He flashes his high beams at me letting me know he want to race me.

I get excited because I've wanted to race something with an S54. Well light turns green and I slowly start so that we can be rolling. At 10 mph I gun it and I hear him follow suit behind me. I winding through the gears and I'm looking in my mirror and neither one of us were gaining on the other! We shut it down just north of 90mph, the whole time being DEAD even.

I get on the brakes and pull into the dealer and he follows me in. He comes out the car laughing with a big grin on his face. "I can't believe we were dead even, I was giving my car all it had. What do you got in there?"

So we talk and I find out about his car and such. Cool guy, ended up speaking to him for 4 hours, lol.

*And please no BS flags, this guy is a race car driver for BMW North Scottsdale...I'm sure the guy knows how to handle a shifter*

I believe it's the gearing that helped me the most, along with being lighter obviously (curb weight for those things is 3296#'s). He also has 19'' BBS rims which look heavier than stock.
