^^ that's a good point actually. Just couple of days ago i had my friend "spirited driving" my car with me in pass seat. - the car regained respect in my eyes. It feels very different depending on whether you are in control or not :)Leave a comment:

Oh snap...kinda forgot I was in the 24v section and you have an M50. I was thinking, "How the fuck can an M20 do that without major mods?", lol.Nope.
The way it would usually go is:
1- Exit turn 5
2- point people by and lift so they can pass before 6
3- turn 6
4- more people catch me
5- turn 7
6- exit turn 7 flat in third (on to back straight)
7- shift into 4th and enter the passing zone, giving signal but not lifting
8- walk away from e36 M3 that had had a run on me coming out of turn 7
9- lift before the end of the passing zone (around 100) so they can actually pass
I could have been that a-hole in a fast car who rockets down the straights then parks it in the corners. I am still working on going fast around the WHOLE track. It's only my second weekend at RA and I'm already out of the beginner group also, so the other drivers on track with me are usually faster in the corners.
Then yah, your car is expected to be quicker. My friend has a '98 M3 and said this guy that owns an M50 powered E30 track car put 3 car lengths on him on the highway.
Not exactly sure what speeds they started and ended, but whatever.Leave a comment:
