    Can I use this DME?

I just picked up an s52 from a 98 M3. It came complete with motor, acessories, trans, wire harness and DME. Pictured is the label on DME. With regard to EWS, can I use this DME, with modification, or will I need to do an OBDI swap?

you have to do an OBD1 swap...

you also need the OBD1 wiring harness and all accessories...

you can IF and only IF you have the key from the same EWS ECU and KEY from the same car. you will also need the ignition ring and the transmitter ("borg" i believe)

otherwise, you'll need to go OBDI. good luck.

-3.2>3.0. What would happen if you rebuilt your S50 into a 3.2L. More Powa'. Save energy and start with the factory built 3.2. PS:Dyno proven. (more powerful)

Nope...need to swap manifold, harness, DME, sensors and the list goes on---OBD-1 is easier to mod...if you need a DME for OBD-1 I have 4salePM me Silver DME 413 for OBD1, got stock 506 chip in it and TMS chip 14+ HP as well.
