        this top has come up before, since it's up again i'll contribute. 2650- 325i sport interior, ac removed, single pipe exhaust, all sound deadening, trunk tar removed, 1/4 tank of gas, no spare tire, no stereo(had it removed for me by some theives), NV m50

          I cant wait to see what i end up weighing
          so far i have removed all the interior
          sunroof
          sound insulation
          wiring harness. im making my own
          misc brackets
          no ac
          no heat
          no p/s
          sparco evo seats
          Im adding a fuel cell
          massive brakes front and rear
          rota slipstream wheels

              geez..you have an s 50(?) and youll be very light...even I cant wait. I HOPE you track this car.

                  well........I cant fathom why one would turbo an s 50 in an e 30...but more power to ya...no pun intended.

                          its not about skills at all( Id match mine w/ any non pro actually)........ its about preference in one's ride..... the nature of the beast....its strong points and weak points.....its power delivery....blah blah.

                            I thought i would be happy with just an s50 too but after a few weeks i wasnt satisfied. Then i blew my motor so i figured it was a perfect time to go all out.

                              lol you asked for it. And yeah it kinda does have to do w/ driver skill. You even said you wanted to drive the car and not have it drive you.

                              My car was orig a 318is before my 24v swap so I understand what you mean about momentum driving. But extra power is a nice thing. You just have to drive differently in a slow car in a high power car obv. You also have to step up the game and get stickier tires and change your susp to accommodate the power.
