I track my m20 mainly....... balance / linear power and reliability rules for me.....w/ an s 50 I think Id be happy overall....I wouldnt want a t.bo. 240-290 ( w/cams etc would be big enuf power)



I prefer driving the car...not the car driving me. I see what cars do on the track, from lil miatas to twin turbo 996's...... ... Still confused?....its only my opinion tho.....

Totally. The last thing I'd want in mine is more horsepower, given the suspension and brake setup, along with stock fenders and (relatively) small tires. To seriously hotlap a 3.0/3.2 E30, you NEED 5-lug 12.5" brakes, 245's, downforce, etc.
Even with Hawk Blues or the Carbotechs I bought from you (Joel), I think I could get around my local track just as fast if my car had a 2.5 or 2.8 as opposed to the 3.0. Can't imagine having 325+hp.

BTW, to stay ontopic, my 318 with full trim and 3.0L M50 is 2620#.
