i guess ill ask the same questions i have in the 24v swap thread here, i got more eyes on this thread.

did you guys remove the metal coolant tube and replace it with the rubber obd1 pipe. if so did you just cut the metal one short, and put the rubber over top?

im assuming i should be using the s52 injectors and fuel rail since i have them as appose to the m50 pieces?

thats a relief about the chain but i left the nut alone, i was actually just going to replace the nut with the nuts that have the plastic ring built into them, but that fucken nut is so short i cant find a lock nut short enough. well see what happens i guess.

engine installation try number 2 today....ill keep you guys posted.

Man, you could eat sleep and have sex in that engine bay.. thing is fucking clean.

Honestly, I don't see a big need in welding the oil pump nut on a s52.. s52s RARELY encountered problems with the oil pump nut slipping off, but it's always good to be safe than sorry.

motor was suppose to go in today, but i seem to have misplaced the throw out bearing, so tomorrow im trying to get it in, instead i did some little shit here and there. the car is offically on the floor, first time in 4 months... anyone ever use a 318 throw out bearing? its a centerforce piece, seems to fit okay. check out my clean wiring loom, last pics of the car with mo motor in it.

I'm not too sure about the chain, maybe some one else will chime in on that.

Quick question, are you going to keep the fan clutch or remove it?

Any plans to run an electric fan?

    What about you Windsor?
nope no fan here, ill prolly get the spal if i have any issues......since i just got a powerdyne supercharger!! im going to leave it off for now, i might as well see how the s52 feels first. i hate making more work but this is worth it.

I used the m20 one for a while. Ended up contacting the rad under braking (not even being too rough on the thing!) Oh well. It was close though. I hear the m20 fan/clutch is skinnier than the others.
