        I haven't had time to do a compression test yet, so I just waited to order the head gasket.

          how hard is the headgasket, that includes the whole cam timing and locking nonsense ive read about?

          our s50 currently has a thicker HG from its previous turbo app, so it will need to be changed unless we find some extra money somewhere for a turbo set-up

            Yeah, most people do it with the cam locks and the tool to hold the cams down while you take the retainers off. The timing really isn't that bad, just pretty much lining up marks. I probably won't end up doing one since its going to be <10psi and it came out of a babied auto 525i.

            You should just get a turbo for that S50 :twisted:
