    Starting issues (no fuelpump)

Car won't start, not getting fuel... I know the harness had the ews wire clipped, so I'm figuring I don't need an ews delete chip because of this. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this. I checked on the fuelpump relay I put 87 to 30 and it does start the pump so that is all good.

    Thanks

You will not get engine running on that computer without full ews system, including the original key from the car.

Either get the chip, or if you have the Siemens box, might be time to start looking for a new computer...

So even though it was on an e36 w/o ews because the ews wire was cut it still won't work for some wierd reason.
      Kool, thanks

        is it getting spark?

        -Check your wiring

-Check if you got the supply/return lines the wrong way

-Check your main relay and fuel pump relay, making sure power is getting where its supposed to

-Check your crank position sensor as well becuase if that is shot = No start

I know its getting to the fuel pump from the relay, I started that, the rest of the stuff I'll check when I tow it home from the exhaust shop hopefully tomorrow night.
ninja edit: also I checked the supply and return to see they are in the right direction.
I disconnected one of the fuel lines and just held it while my dad cranked the car out of curiosity if it wasn't going because of air or was there w/ no spark.
          The wiring is this one:

I sorta had the same problem, no fuel/spark no pump prrming. I changed the crank position sensor and it fired up like it was nobodys business. With that faulty i know it will not start. Doesn't hurt to test it out.

Ya, definitely will. Sadly tonight I took it to the exhaust shop so I won't have it back for a day or two to test that.

Ninja edit: what should the resistance be for testing the CPS?
                      Thanks

Thanks much, by chance do you have the resistance for the TPS sensor or does that need to be set to anything?

                          Thanks

New update on the not starting, turns out that the ews chip was left in the ecu, new ecu on the way so I can start the car.
