I think ur right groupie, its m20 starter w/ the m20 flywheel.

Or it is possible to reuse the m42 flywheel and throw a m50 clutch onto it, works great, just is heavier than the m20 flywheel.

Search around in the 24v section, we talked about it 2 or so months ago when I started my m50 build, all the info you need should be there.

Hard launches are at your own disgression. I'm not gonna say if its under 3000 it won't break, cuz it all depends on the condition of the rear end. Some could take it well, while others could disintigrate soon as you hit the gas w/ the smaller case.

i got a few quetions if you dont mind :)

                    i got a 95' vanos m50 325i (100,00 KMS) ;) im putting in my car ...91' 318is

the m50 is an auto tranny so im planning on using my m42 tansmission, e36 325I driveshaft (as far as i know i will need) and my e30 4.10 LSD

                    good combination??

im trying to budget my spending limits since i have to pay for everything else lol

i would like to do the "m20 flywheel" upgrade, im pretty sure it will work from what i have searched. does anybody know the part numbers for the flywheel!

im just trying to double check everything before
                    What are my options??

                    thanks for the help!
I am running that setup right now. You will need the m20 starter to use the 260 flywheel. At first I ran the dual mass 318i flywheel and clutch which lasted about 2 days. Now my small case 4.10 is also bad, the clutch packs are blown and it vibrates when off the gas. The drive shaft will work fine, you just need to unbolt the center of it and stretch it out a couple inches. Also make sure you put a e30 center bearing in it. Finally you will need e30 325i shift linkage. The beauty of the 240 is you can use the e30 transmission mount and do not have to modify the shift linkage.

i'm putting the 325xi brake booster,
                      apparently i need a e32 735 brake reservoir, am i correct?
do i need anything else to go with that? (master cylinder)

                      part numbers?

                      thanks
