I guess we should also note here for the inexperienced that the quality of the bends and general layout of the piping also changes everything. If you have good mandrel bends and a relatively straight path, 2.5" is plenty for all NA I6's. But if you're crush bending and have a compromised setup, I'd go 2.75" on a 3.0/3.2.

ok , i'm planning on running a dual side exhaust on my swap, what size pipes should i use for the duals? Also planning on it being straight piped with a stock or aftermarket cat, no muffler though. (keeping the cat to pass very easy Chattanooga Emissions)

Im trying to find the right size exhaust for an M50 NV, and this is what i came to: ebay header to a in the middle of the car, than with two at the end all with 2" dual pipes?

What do you guys think?
