    Custom exhaust size.

Im trying to find the right size exhaust for an M50 NV, and this is what i came to: ebay header to a in the middle of the car, than with two at the end all with 2" dual pipes?

    What do you guys think?

dual 2" should sound good and won't be too big, but u should put the muffler at the end and the resonators in the middle to get a better sound...o ya use an X pipe to clean up the rasp before the resonators

        Dual 2" for a 2.5? A little overkill no? That's bigger than a 3.5" single - I think many turbo guys run a 3" single.

Yea thats waay overkill there. If your going to custom fab the whole exhaust, go with a single 2.5 inch after the headers. Use 2 mufflers and you will be set.

stock for our cars are 1.75 dual so 2" is a little up grade.

you should x-pipe at the heders, then the DynoMax muffler, then resonators and end up in a dual in, dual out w/ tips muffler. i have an s52 and i'm going to do something very very similar ex. single 2.5"....x-pipe is a must

The 2ed muffler that you posted might as well not be a muffler at all. Or even considered a glasspack. I got two 3" ones for my Vega. I heard them on a few cars and there is very little difference between them and straight pipes! But when you pick one up and look in it your face looks like this

Im not trying to be shitty or anything towards you, but flowmaster suck i've had nothing but bad about them they fucked up exhaust so much its unreal.

                        Flowmasters = no flow.

they have the worst rating in exhaust flow. They sound ok though?

Yeah i think im gonna go with 2.5

                        Here is my setup:
                        Header
right after header y-pipe from magnaflow
thrush glass pack in the middle
                        2.5" pipes
another 2.5" glasspack at the end
and than my 3" dual tips.

You listen to your buddy O 16581 72452 5 too much, Flowmasters are good mufflers. Just not on turbo cars.

No, if you go and read about flowmaster, they dont flow. They have bad cfm ratings
                            worst than stock.
