    hahaha!

I am 99% certain they came with a ZF310, the predecessor of the 320. PiercedE30 is also right, many non Vanos E34 525i came with the ZF310 as well. Still kicking myself for not grabbing a ZF310 at the junkyard on the same 525i I took my oilpan from.

what is the production date of your car? This is on the VIN sticker on the driver's side doorjamb.

Measure the guibo. If the center to center distance between two holes is 96mm, get a 96mm guibo. If it is 78mm, get a 78mm guibo.

ok found out some more news, the last 3 numbers on the guibo is 624, and the starting numbers on my tranny is 260, so im gussing the tranny is a getrag 260 with a guibo ending with 624.

Interesting, I've been told otherwise. I'll take your word for it though, now that I think about it my sources are all hearsay.
