    413 silver ecu

I'm curious about that. I've got one, but I've got a 413 red label chip in it. Haven't tried anything yet, hoping to get wiring figured out and am curious if this will work for a chip. I know the ews delete chips just ignore the ews inside of the ecu so I'm curious if a red label chip will do the job.

    Thanks

no. you have to get a chip that has "EWS delete" function.

I was wondering the same thing. I have a silver label box that came out of a 94 with no EWS. Does that mean the box doesn't have EWS, either? I didn't think so.

What does a red label chip look like? I will open mine and look tonight.

Never mind... it has a silver label chip 261 200 413. I still don't think it has EWS. The donor car didn't have the key ring receiver or anything.

You are probably OK. Not all silver labels have EWS.

Thanks for the order, it went out today and you should see it tomorrow.

Red vs. silver label applies to the ECU only, all the chips I've seen have silver labels.
