You sound to be looking at what I'm looking at doing as well.

Crank pulleys = no. It's there to damp out crank harmonics. TRM has off-the-shelf chips for the S52 OBD-I in your desired configuration. TRMho matt will be in this thread to tell you all about it.

Depending on the dyno I believe that setup should be good for around 230 whp +.

Just say no to crank pulleys. Accessory are ok.

    started a topic s52 obd1 HP info.

    s52 obd1 HP info.

Well, i tried searching but wasn't able to find what I was really looking for.. I have seen alot of s50 dyno sheets with similar mods, but i'm not sure how much hp or torque a s52 should yield over a s50.

How much rwhp should I shoot for if I do the following.. (The s52 dyno'd 212 rwhp in the stock obd2 m3)

    OBD1 s52 + ZF tranny
euro 3.5 inch HFM, CAI, exhaust (headers to straight pipes to muffler)
+ the right tune, i'm looking at either AA or conforti chips.. not really sure who else sells swap chips?

What are your thoughts on performance crank pulleys, and accessory belt pulleys?

Are cams really worth the extra $? It seems like if i am going to be spending so much money on say, sunbelt cams.. i might as well piece together a decent turbo setup for a bit more $ and create more hp..

    Thanks.
Working...
