Most people spent less on the headers, piping and actual muffler than what that superspring center section retails for.

ive got an m20 e30 with a 3" straightpipe to a generic "turbo"muffler. Sounds good. Im going to an m50 swap soon and am wondering what header exhaust setup i should go with.

Id like to keep it a straight pipe setup again (no cat) any suggestions? Id like to keep it fairly inexpensive but decent.

This this is loud! Sounds good. It must be the eBay headers that make it that much louder then my car.

Put a resonator at the part that straightens out after the cat, and it will sound much better.

that bend looks crushed as hell...

i agree. the muffler is a single in dual out magnaflow, with tips welded on. i dont think it has any baffling in it at all, just straight through. im going to replace it soon, along with that ugly ass bend.

that bend is fine and the rest of your exhaust is fine ex i would have high temp painted it to preserve it unless you plan to run it for some time to burn up oils etc and then paint it black....its the muffler, looks good but i say do away with it
