has any one here used them before? i want to know if they found any preformnce out of them or if they just like to blow 300 bucksComment

waste of money - unless the OEM coils were made poorly (unlikely), you happened to get them cheap, or you have some way of increasing dwell to take advantage of an upgraded coil, there's just no reason to "upgrade".Comment

they are on sale for 250. i need two ignition coils for my m50 and to buy two new ones would cost me around 100, so i figured why not throw out another 150 and get all 6 new. but i foubd a couple threads on bimmerfest that pretty much said stay stock cuz the " performance" ones arent any better. so im just buying used ignition coils from another m50.Comment

strongly agree. you wouldnt try and sell somthing and say O hey your stock coil is better lol. bavauto is a good company but i have found most of thier stuff to be alittle over priced. just my 2 centsComment

Don't forget that they also disable the adaptability of the stock ecu.My 2.9L Build!
