i'm in love with your engine bay, we have same color 2d's but your bay is just so sexy

...and what are those strut supports? they come with cabby's or you welded them in?! cool deal either way
My cooling system uses the low temp thermostat, low temp a/c fan switch, stock a/c fan, no engine fan, stock E30 M20 radiator and an aux on/off switch to control the a/c fan -- basically an override switch that allows me to turn the a/c fan on whenever I want.

The strut support that are painted Bronzit like the car are stock. BMW beefed up the cabrio's in a few places like the strut towers and the door sills.

Thanks for the info, just wanted to see if the shop could do it again. What suspension you running, any other chassis stiffening other than the rollbar?

Great car man, makes me think I really can track the cabrio.

looks very clean , i would have never considered putting one in but i think i might habe changed my mind
It's tough to say. I know it probably stiffened up the cowl a little. I don't remember a huge difference. The main purpose was added safety. Even though BMW reinforced the windshield frame on the cabrios I didn't want to find out if it could support the entire weight of the car in the worse case scenario.

I also have a race car. That car has a full cage. We had the cage buillt to prepared specs in BMWCCA club racing. We felt the difference going from no cage to cage.

I'm running Ground Control with Koni Single Adjustment shocks, Eibach sway bars, Ground Control adjustable camber plates and Sparco upper strut brace in the front.

Pretty much the same setup as the race car.

              Whoa, whoa, whoa whoa. Whoa.

Did you just make Bronzeit look good?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wouldn't choose any other color for your car.

                          Paul

Is that an alternator cooler fitted behind your rad? From an E36?

                          Nice car!

                          Cheers

Yes, that's the E36 alternator cooling duct.

Tried to cover all the details.

love the car and the roll bar adds some classyness with the leather, I was going to do the same thing with a E36 but in alcantara. looks like alot of fun!!
