    Headers for S50...

Yeah, I've searched, but I'm also lazy. There's a few cheapies on the Bay, I assume that's what everyone else is using? We have a potential swap project coming into the shop soon and I'm trying to figure out the exhaust because I'm spearheading this project.

What I'm thinking is these welded to the cat and pipes that are already there, as it's not a bad system now. Am I going to have to bend the crap out of those headers or will they clear the subframe and all that? Also, is the e30 cat too restrictive or will it be fine to get the car running? There's a bit of a time constraint on this project, at least for initial driveability so I want to find the easiest/cheapest route to get things running for now and then worry about the fine tuning once everything is in place.

    Thanks!

Those work well. It'd be a good idea to ditch the cats and replace them with resonators if you're looking for power. Nothing robs power like the factory cats on M50's. Mid-pack and front-running IP cars use the Ebay headers...fitment might require some modification in places, but they work well overall.

Meh, it was already raspy, I'm sure the customer won't mind. So those headers, with some possible BFH modding and some resonators in place of the cats and we should be good for a bit?

i agree to disagree. good note/sound comes from components. my s52's sound is godly...on the quiet side but oh so sharp...it has a $200+muffler borla muffler and even the y-pipe was specifically chosen (flowmaster>magnaflow)
            No more e30s for me.

so you guys happy with the flowmaster Y ?
I am contemplating changing the ghetto custom Y along with the downpipes (that are crush-bent 2.25" each )
