    ABS pump

I bought the wrong fuel rail cover a while back. I couldn't return it so I just threw it in my stash box. I made a cover for my ABS pump out of it yesterday. I think it looks neato.

No coffee yet Fred? That's what he said. :)

Good looking bay. How much time and scratch did you invest to move the abs pump to the battery tray?

Many hours. I did the relo myself. Fabricated a little holder for it with the factory rubber isolation mounts, then made a wire harness extension. Covered the wiring in heat shrink so it looks factory. The bitch was bending up the brake lines. I finally just gave up.

            Thanks.

              Wow! That looks great!

I've been thinking about relocating the ABS this since I moved the battery into the trunk.

Did you run new lines to the calipers? Install couplings to join the existing lines? Or?

Great job and the cover looks good too.

that's cool - I've been wanting to relocate my ABS to that spot. The driver's side of my engine bay is way more crowded. unfortunately I have my coils in that spot right now. I'd like to hear what is required to do that anyway. :)

Color is called Techno-Gray. It's a Saturn color.

I ran new hard lines to the caliper hoses at their original locations. The lines definitely dont look as "factory" as I had hoped they would but are mostly covered by the engine anyway. It was a real PITA.

yeah, I've always planned on saving that for when it's no longer a DD.
