Check engine light, WHY is it not on?

Sorry to revive an old ass thread but I feel it's better to contribute to this one than start a new one.
I currently am having the same problem than some of you had, if the car idles for 15-20 seconds the check engine will come on, and usually the tach bounces slightly up and down. As soon as I give it gas, the light goes off. It does smell rich at times.
I was guessing O2 sensor, did any of you find that was the problem?YOUTUBE: AR Perez

I have the AGK plug, and i dont have a check engine light at any key position. Im pretty sure they didnt include it.Comment
