For those running the IX booster.

What did you do about the resivor??
can I cut the bracket off the back of the booster and move it back??
The resivor is hitting my TB and causing issues with the vac lines.

I believe that you have to relocate it with 2002 brake lines or lines from a 5 series (don't know which model specifically)..

^^ ... do away with the bracket.

mount the booster directly to the wall by drilling new holes in the firewall (coat with rostoleum to prevent rust)
measure twice, cut and weld the piece that goes to the brake pedal.

voila, resevoir fits right behind the intake boot. its what i did.

Is that a 2002 brake reservoir as well?

Yes. Actually a fairly cheap part brand new too.

that's pretty friking good. i was using some 5er lines that didn't fit very well so i managed to not have to remote mount, but that is pretty simple and cheal too.
