Yeah, that turner one is a joke, do not get it. Although, I am still using it though, but just the one that sends the signal to the ecu.

What I did, instead of drilling an extra hole i just took out and deleted my throttle body cooling and dyed the e30 temp sensor to make it fit in there, i think this is the most simple and cheapest way to do it if you don't want to drill into your head.

Having read through all of the options for properly taking care of the coolant sensor issue I have a question.
I purchased my motor already converted to obd1. The seller spliced the two coolant temp sensors on the obd1 harness together and ran the single harness into the front coolant temp sensor on the head. He swears up and down that they have done many e30 swaps this way.
Does anyone have any experience with this working?
