Ebay header 2 into 1 adapter

I found the E36 M3 mid section works well. Here's my exhaust that is mounted to ebay headers with the supplied sleeves making it easy to remove (one of the sleeves is in place in the photo). Mid section is OBD2 M3 with an Eissenman Sport muffler. This setup is reasonably quiet under light load but has a beautiful wail to it when you put your foot in it.

Can you give us some details on the Eisenmann? I've been mating the e36 cat section up to an e30 m3 Borla. With dual 1.75" pipes on this muffler, it's probably a little on the restrictive side. That Eisenmann might be a good drop-in replacement for me.

The shop I'm using makes headers for sand rails using turbo'd Acura V6 engines so they know how to make a good piece.

The overall length is approx 12".

Sorry should have mentioned that the Eisenmann is an E30 model (#5303) that came with the car. It has 1.75" O.D. pipes on the inlet side also, but I don't think it's costing any real power considering how far down the line it is. The fact that the exhaust gases cool and contract as they move down the exhaust system means a reduction in cross section at the muffler end has less potential impact. Of course the only real way to to assess this would be with a assortment of pipes and a dyno.

The place is in Mesa, 638 W Broadway Rd #308, Broadway and Extension is closest intersection. It isn't a regular exhaust place, they just make custom pipes and such. They will call me Monday to let me know if they have room for the car to keep it inside; they just got a couple other cars in for some work.

the ebay headers i bought were the same widths on both sides, just the side that sits closer to the motor shrunk down at the end, i just cut them both 2 inches up and the pipes were both the same widths. no problem.

maby mine was the other side, i dont remember either way same thing. only matters if you plan on running a stock e36 midpipe.
