Ahhh, wheels...(heavy sigh) I'm just about tapped right now, need more overtime! I have a set of one-piece AC Schnitzers in 16x8, but they all need repair and refinish. Alas, they are basically lipless as well. If I had the balls, I'd buy a set of staggered M-Parallels. I love those wheels but I've heard 18's are a real bitch on M3's. I didn't get my fenders rolled before paint and I'm definitely not willing to risk it now.

I work with a kid who found a set of Alpinas in a local junkyard. They all need work too but they're staggered (7 and 8 inch). The problem with those would be finding center caps. If he hasn't already sold them, I could probably get them for $100 each.

I really need to lock up my debit card for a while.

Take a breather man! You've done some great work already....you don't want to start hating your car for being a money pit!
Nice engine bay! Must be a blast to drive!

I like how you relocated you ABS pump, what where did the cover come from? Most of the pumps I have seen don't have the silver stripes on them the way yours does.

Quick question Kroberts...is your intake manifold new, repainted, or treated with product? It's looks clean, whatever you've done.

I made the ABS pump cover by cutting up an injector rail cover.

I cleaned the intake really well by putting it in the dishwasher & painted it with that Krylon spraypaint for plastic.

            Thanks

I couldn't believe it either. That car was famous. I had never heard of the twincam swap until I saw the Roundel article.

Damn....I still remember back when you were putting it all together. You know.......back when Roadfly was still a decent place to hang out.

Ugh.....just realized I've had the same ugly E30 for over 6 years now. A few others have also come and gone, but still have the original. Just can't seem to part with that $1000 piece of crap
