I'm fairly certain that searching won't work, as few people need a cable 4-5 inches longer than the E30 M3 cable.
Mike B. has said the E30 M42 cable is longer than the E30 M3 cable, but I am not sure if it is 4-5 inches longer. I believe the E34 525i M50 cable is longer than the E30 M42 cable.
I am wondering out loud, maybe a RHD throttle cable would get you the length you need?

Does anyone have any measurements on the cables above?
I can measure my E30 M3 cable but it's too short...
Unfortunately I don't think the M42 cable will give you the length you need. It looks to be 1" longer, with the overall length being essentially the same:
Top cable is S14, bottom cable is M42.
Detail: S14 top, M42 bottom.
The S14 cable does have a long rigid section at the end, around 3" in length. I don't think that would affect anything for your particular setup--bracket actuating a long throttle linkage.

Just a suggestion in case you can't find a cable you like, but have the ends terminals you are comfortable running - How about using say a motorcycle throttle cable, brake cable, etc.
I've scavenged cables before from old, dead dirt bikes for different projects.
May not be a permanent fix, but it would buy you time to get running until you can research the most proper cable you want to run long term.
Or call Adzevo - if you ask real nice they might tell you outright what they use on swap cars.
It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
