e34 m50 pan, still need to get a "oil pick up?", oil tube and oil dip stick.

Going to drop it off to hot-tank.

Did not get a 95 m50, but it's a 94 m50, verified by VIN with local bmw dealership. They are giving me a flywheel and manual harness free, so I hope this will work.

Started removing the auto flywheel. I hope a starter will bolt on w/o any issues?!

          10. Oil level sensor gasket (new)
          11. Dip stick (new)
          12. Dip stick tube (ok)
Unless your E34 pan came with a dipstick tube you'll need a new one, not the E36 (and not sure if the dipstick is compatible).

As far as the pickup goes, it'll be obvious once you take the pan off. The oil pump is at the front of the engine with a flange right on it. On the E36, there's a pipe that runs off the flange, the length of the engine, and down into the back reservoir. The E34 variant is like the end of that chopped off. And you'll need the flange gasket.

Damn I am pissed now after seeing carfax results. I bid on a 95 with 86k, not something with 114k+ .
