quick ABS wiring question and verify pin to pin for 318is...

So I think I have all the wiring figured out. Just need to get the ABS wiring correct. Do I have to splice into the main relay power? I am putting this is a 318is and pin 6 of the c101 comes off the ignition switch with a fuse. From the ETM it shows that the ABS power is just powering a relay that turns the ABS pump on. It would be really easy to just connect pin 6 and pin 20 on the c101 rather than tapping into the main relay power wire.

and the pin to pin for the 318is to m50. Is this right? I went through the 318is side and everything is right. Other than a couple of the labels, pins 6 and 7

It all depends on year of the harnesses that your going from and to. That worked for me like I mentioned to you, but honestly theres no way of telling w/o pullin out a diagram of all the electronics and tracing pin to pin for your exact year.

If pin 6 (318is) provides 12v (switched/crank/run) on the chassis side of the connector, then, yes you should be able to loop a wire in the C101 and connect it to pin 20 (318is).

yes it does have power at pin 6. Does the ABS pull much power. From the ETM it is just powering a relay so it shouldn't be all that much power

The ETM indicates it's a .75mm wire, so it's not pulling much current.

Pin 6 is hot in start and run.
