How is the sound inside the car on the road? I have a rusted out stock system that is about as loud inside as I want it to get. Kind of sounds like a mustang on the inside of my car (nothing like a stang on the outside). Quiet enough on a DD for a 45 min commute?

I'm working on my swap now. 92 non-vanos m50. So far I have ebay headers. I'm thinking I will run dual 2 or dual 2.25 with an X pipe and a flow master 50 series suv it has duals in and out (2.25) Model: 524554. what do you guys think? 2 or 2.25 piping? x pipe close to the headers? and flex pipe or joint? what do you think of the muffler? looking for somthing deep sounding would like it too not sound like my raspy m42.

Why, no video that any of us could make could make it sound like the real thing without some nice mics. Be happy.

    +1

Since I'm in here. I just started working on a new exhaust. Mine sounds like SHIT right now. I've got an E46M3 resonator in the middle of a bunch of hacked together 2.25" piping with a random DynoMax muffler. I just got a bunch of stainless piping and one of my new mufflers. It's a DynoMax Ultra-X SS muffler. The bitch is HUGE. It's like 2 foot long. I also have 4 v-bands (one for each header bank and two to split the front from the back). I started working on building the x-pipe section today and am picking up an Argon bottle on Monday to start welding it together. Hopefully it will be done in a few weeks when I get my other muffler in since it was on back order. So I will have 2 mufflers. I hate how mine drones right now.

I originally took the back half off and was driving it but the droning in the car was kiling me, but the girls liked the vibrations it made coupled with my solid engine/tranny mounts :D

Weight reduction is the name of the game!
