    Oil level light in check panel

    I've got an 86 325e with an M50 Vanos in it here and need to know the correct way to disable the oil level idiot light in the overhead check panel. Thanks guys.

    Have you checked the sensor in the oil pan? Is it good?

      I'd dismantle the panel and remove the bulb, or LED whichever there is. That is if you are using a plate on the oil pan rather than the sensor.

        why not just put a jumper on the connector

          i'd say keep it its hella helpful.

          looking into the engine side connector with the middle, pin 3 is ground, wires 1 & 2 static and dynamic respectively. (C101 pins 2 and 10 respectively on your car)
