    Fuel rail

    Which end of the rail is inlet and outlet?......In other words is the fuel pressure reg end inlet or outlet of the rail?

        yep!

        the fuel goes into the rail, and the excess pressure is bled out the regulator - which is also under vaccum, so the pressure differential between the injectors and the intake remains the same as load increases on the engine.

              You have it backwards. The inlet in on the forward side and the FPR/Outlet is on the back end.
