Yah, I know they're not meant to flex. On the NEW piece I had welded I did have a flex pipe put in (not sure why though) but it wasn't flexing at the flex pipe. The pipe was sagging from the piece that connects the 2 headers to make it 1 pipe.Leave a comment:

WTF? how did you make a bracket to "pull" the headers up? The headers are not meant to flex. It's all welded together.
Do your headers have a built in flex pipe or something?

So I made a bracket that pulled the headers up. It works well, and it's not low clearing anymore.
Anybody know anything about backpressure? I think I have too much, and I want to hollow out my Ansa muffler. Anybody?Leave a comment:

Aftermarket Headers
Anybody have problems with after market headers being too low? I just got my exhaust welded up, and everything is really low. It's about 2" off the ground low. Ugh!Tags: None
