    Aftermarket Headers

Anybody have problems with after market headers being too low? I just got my exhaust welded up, and everything is really low. It's about 2" off the ground low. Ugh!
I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.

One of my buddies... But where he welded it goes straight up from there. The headers just hang wayyyyy too low.

            Strange...Ebay headers?

I have a set of the longtube ones and it's perfect fit.

So I made a bracket that pulled the headers up. It works well, and it's not low clearing anymore.

Anybody know anything about backpressure? I think I have too much, and I want to hollow out my Ansa muffler. Anybody?

WTF? how did you make a bracket to "pull" the headers up? The headers are not meant to flex. It's all welded together.
Do your headers have a built in flex pipe or something?

Yah, I know they're not meant to flex. On the NEW piece I had welded I did have a flex pipe put in (not sure why though) but it wasn't flexing at the flex pipe. The pipe was sagging from the piece that connects the 2 headers to make it 1 pipe.

Hey what headers do you have? I just found out that one of mine are cracked and I need to either replace or have it welded. But either way I have to take it off, so I figured I would be putting a new one on.
