starting the swap. 91 318is m50 with some questions

[1991 e30 bmw 318is]

i have a 1991 318is bought a 1990 325is took the drivetrain out of for the swap. and just bought a 1992 325i Auto today for the m50 i just started to unplug some stuff and am wondering how much of this do i need?

do i just unplug these two plugs or do i need to go further? will both of the plugs be used?



and whats this little cylinder thing do i need it?

You can take the body side of the x20 connector and the engine side of your 325is's c101 connector, along with a few inches of wiring on each, and make a harness adapter, So you don't need to butcher your m50 or 318is wiring.

From what I understand (I could be completely wrong), one of those connectors is for the auto trans.

No clue what the cylinder thing is.

ya i thought one was for the trans ill find out as i go. as for the other thing i don't think i need it also i pulled the dme out its a 413 is that the right one? there was also another computer in there with it its an all black box is this for the auto trans?
