    M52 328 Radiator question

What would it take to get that installed? I am leaning towards it it's got a built in overflow tank and the hoses location would obviously match the m52. I did a quick search on here for 328 radiator and didn't find anything specific.

anybody here using one of these in an e30? how was the fit?

    Thanks

I believe you can use any e36 radiator and mount it using the e30 radiator brackets.

Yes, there is no difference between any of the E36 radiators. They're all the same. I am not sure about using the expansion tank. I've only used the M42 radiator with the built in tank, and prefer the E30 325i expansion tank, because it makes bleeding very easy.

I also believe that you have to use late e30 model radiator brackets to mount the e36 radiator.

Perfect, I have a new set of e30 radiator brackets anyway :)

I'll pick it up this week then.

A little OT but Jean, did you tap your head already?

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.

No, I am going to try and make the 4 pin sensor work as it's basically two sensors in one.

Right, but I thought the ohm range of the e36 sensor didnt match up with the ohm range of the e30 temp gauge.

jean, have you run across anyone who has actually made this work? i know turner says it does, but i still don't believe them as i've never see anyone posting that it worked.

                    Someone should remind them.

I am going to give them a call tomorrow to ask a couple questions on what exactly it takes to make their adapter work. I called today but they were already closed, and they are closed on the weekends as well.
