Is there one? I only see the gasket for the suction pipe (#12) but no gasket for the mating surface between the pump and block. Can anyone check theirs?

No. There is a piece of pipe (I guess you can call it) that sticks out of the block and into the hole on the pump. -
You sure about that? I'm not talking about the front of the pump, I'm talking about the rear, where there are 3 holes, right above the control valve. I see that the front has the 2 alignment dowels, where #16 is used.
The surface looks pretty flat on the back section look pretty flat, maybe flat enough to not require a gasket?Comment
