The code still won't go away even after I've driven the car for about 45 minutes.
I've been getting the code ever since I first hooked everything up and started the engine. I tried several 413 Red label's when I first got it started, but they all give the same code.
I'm running the E34 harness with Treehouse adapter, S52 OBDI.
The DME has 2 battery input locations, #26 and #54. #26 comes from the same splice that send power to the fuel pump relay & DME relay, so it obviously is hot since those parts work.
#54 comes from the splice that sends power to the IACV, evap valve and the cam actuator (I'm guessing this is the VANOS solenoid). Those parts all seem to work, so I'm stumped as to why the code is still there.
I read someplace that this code will clear after driving the car enough to charge up the battery (if the battery was getting down on voltage), so it should have cleared itself by now. Do the codes clear themselves or do I have to disconnect the battery to do that?
Any help appreciated.
