Ask good n tight, IIRC he just pulled 450whp on low boost on a stock M30. The TQ curve is as flat as a table.
I'm really only posting in here to give support to EJnight, I run his skid plate on my e30 325 with m20 and its survived MANY HARD hits, and it hasn't even budged. I'm on my third oil pan and plan to keep it that way. He also makes plates for the 16v and 24v guys.Comment

I like this thread. I destroyed my sump a few weeks back over a stealth speed bump. Put a vertical crack all up one side (~150mm long)
Has anyone thought about cutting, raising and widening (to keep/add volume) the bottom of the sump? I hate the way it sits. It hangs below the crossbar and way further forward than any other engine config. Down in Aus this is asking for pain...
Now I'm toying with the cut/weld idea seeing as I got a spare sump to play with.
Any thoughts on baffling, etc?Comment
