OBD1 Maf plug

let me know if your sticking to OBD2, because when I purchased my S52 it had a Porsche 803 MAF on. I removed it and replaced it with a 540. Up for sale if anyone interested.

might have to do with the way it measure air flow and air temp. Don't quote me, could be wrong.

No, that's probably an 803. The actual part number has been scratched off.

You're right, and it does make sense. It's not a big deal though, google will tell you the whole part number no problem.
