    E30 DOHC Swap Wikiw

    Hey guys,

I run the swap wiki at www.e30dohc.com/wiki and was wondering if you guys still use it.

If someone else has another, better resource site, I'd rather not double efforts. If not, I'm happy to maintain the site as long as people use it.

The reason this comes up is because I've noticed most of the site activity consisted of bot attacks replacing all the info with spam. I've since changed the site so that you have to register to edit pages.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks for your time.

Yeah, I made one last edit like six months ago or so. Then I noticed all of the information was replaced by some spammer. I copied and pasted what I could from archive.org, but it was replaced again. :(

    I'd use it for sure.

      aaaah finally.

I was getting tired visiting it every day to revert to an unmolested version. The bots have gotten really zealous in the last couple of weeks.

Yeah, I noticed one or two people tried to fix it.

The nice thing about the wiki is that there's a history button at the top of every wiki page and you can use that to revert pages. I just click "roll back" after a spammer blows up a page and the page is instantly back to normal.

Please maintain it! I was just on there yesterday and noticed the spam. I thought for sure the site was dead. I'm glad it's back!

Yeah I used it for my swap. Definitely was helpful w/ the wiring stuff... I think I edited one thing way back when, but definitely used it.
