Yes, N/A. Sunbelts, worked head, and if you want reliability build the bottom end. All the front running IP cars are up in that power range.Comment

I know you knew this already JGood, just further clarifying the numbers. For the OP though, to make that much NA power in any of the m/s 50/2 engines, there will be a sacrifice in a lower part of the power-band. :(
Evosport has fully built u.s s52 IP race engines making over 300whp with their crazy 290/290 cams. However, if you look at the dyno graph, there is a huge drop in torque below 4,500, then it explodes like you are hitting crazy boost! :shock:Check out Undr8d Empire on Facebook: www.facebook.com/Undr8dEmpireLlc

To run the 290/290 cams you also need their special pistons with MASSIVE valve reliefs. My 2.9L Build!

From rulebook.
"All pistons must be factory replacement equivalent and match factory dome, dish, valve relief depth, ring grove placement, weight and wrist pin height, etc.; compression must meet factory specifications."
I may be going out on a limb here but I dont think Evosport wouldve labeled these cams as 'Prepared Legal' if they were blatantly illegal.Last edited by madjurgen; 11-19-2008, 05:24 PM.
As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.Comment
