Can anyone expand on the earlier model unloader relay wiring? I realize that it in the earlier cars they are triggered via the black/yellow C101 pin 18 (Ignition switch), but is there any other wiring that needs to be done to make them (the unloader relays) function properly.

      Thanks,
      Ben

Not really? As long as the body wiring hasn't been touched, the only remaining wire that would make K5/K7 work would be connecting terminal 50 on the starter to C101 pin 18.

Thanks Fred. By not wiring the C101 Pin 18 to Terminal 50 on the starter would mean the relays would be permanently unloaded and the windows, etc. would not work, correct?

Yep. If you don't make that connection, then the power windows, HVAC blower motor, and other high current stuff won't work.

Great, thanks. Am I correct to assume that this should be done in addition to the X20 Pin 18 (Starter Ignition)?

                X20 pin 18 = starter terminal 50. So just connect x20p18 to c101p18.
