Unless you are swapping in a bone stock M50B25, you can't run a stock silver label 413 anway, you'll need a chip to make your motor run right. So you might as well buy a silver label 413 and put a chip into it that will delete EWS.
whats confusing? two choices here? 1. red label = no chip to delete ews
2. silver label= chip to delete ews. (unless its a pre 95 silver label) Now if your doing something special to the engine such as cams, inj, hfm...etc etc then yes when you get the chip for the above & at the same time they can do whats needed to delete ews function.
Now if this is wrong someone needs to correct this because its all over the 24v swap sticky. I have a red label along with many others with no issues or modifications needed for a stock m50b25.
I was just joking, I get the gist of it. I actually have a silver label with an ews chip. Its a friends though so Im not sure if Ill be using it or not.
Just trying to help not being an ass. Freinds parts always have the best prices!!! I got my red label uber cheap otherwise I would have taken the first one I could find on the cheap.
