Stock pump is getting tired and not keeping up at high RPMs. What do you guys think about replacing it with a Walbro 255 pump over another stock one? Is anybody running one of these pumps?

No lack-of-fuel symptoms, though. Too much fuel, actually.
Does Walbro make a pump that replaces the external in-line pump?
...Could also be an FPR issue?
MR 325... Is the pump you are talking about the one that's all over eBay?

the way i look at it, sure, it might be cheap and it might move a lot of fuel, but when there are guys pushing 400+hp over on e30tech on stock fuel pumps, if mine ever went bad, i'd definitely replace it with oem. walbro will definitely work, but if you ever run out of gas you'll most likely kill it, as opposed to stock which can run dry 50+ times and last 20 years and still pump away

walbros are not the quietest or the most reliable pumps. that being said i do have one, only because the stocker wouldnt handle the m50 with boost. i will be getting a bosch 044 soon though. i suggest wiring a relay to the stock pump. e30s are known to have a voltage drop at the pump. i did this on mine and a couple friends and it made an improvement, verified with a gauge. just run a relay powered directly from the battery with heavier gauge wire and use the stock pump wire to switch it.
