Did the euro s50 pan have a tray in it? I'm suprised it wouldn't include one, with the performance it has. Does it have provisions for one, like threaded bolt holes? Is the block the same as an US s50? Would one from it fit? I know Isera-Johnson (sp?) makes bmw crank scrapers, but Idk if they make them for your engine. Other than that, I'm sure the big name tuners (VAC, Bimmerworld, Turner, etc.) make or know someone that makes one for that euro engine. Or try a Uk based bmw forum? I hope this is a much more helpful post.
i haven't cracked the motor open yet as it wont go into the car until next winter or the M20 blows up.

butt.... i don't want a baffle for the euro S50 pan. i thought it would be pretty obvious that since this is an E30 site and i'm talking about a baffle for the pan used on E30 swaps, that i would not be using the pan that does not fit in the E30.

I've been around E30 M3's for 10 years now (damn time flies!) which have a huge problem with oil creeping up the side of the oil pan under long sweeping corners. Add sticky r-compounds and it just gets worst.

call me paranoid, but i spent alot of money on the euro S50 and i want to keep it safe.

what data do you have showing you don't have oil starvation? what type of track driving do you do?
