(I searched and read) Booster & MC Recommendations for e36m3/ti brakes

Like the title says, I searched and read most of the threads relating to this aspect of the swap.
However, it seems that there is limited info with regards to which booster/MC combo was used on this particular setup.
I did find a few saying that they ran the 320i booster w/ 735i MC using the e36m3/ti brakes... problem is the results and criticisms were all a few years old, and I figured that there may be more feedback by now.

Anyways, I plan on using my e36 M3 front brakes with e36 318ti rears. (OBD1 S52 swap; not that it matters)
Which booster/MC combo would you reccommend and why? also what is the pedal feel, assist, and lockup like with each recommended combo/setup??

    TIA :)

IX booster and any 25mm MC.

      What he said.

I've done it both ways (every way, actually) and I always prefer the iX booster and a big e34 M5 25mm master cylinder.

Go with what matt said the IX booster is good easy and the M5 master cyl makes a hell of a diff or it did to me for the amount of pressure you put down.
IX booster and M5 MC is the way to go.

          Thanks guys!

Hmm... my cost on a new e34 M5 MC and Tank is $360.

I can't see finding one used though.

You cant use the e34 reservoir. You'll need to add a remote one mounted to the shock tower. Look at Jason's sometime, that's how to do it.

recommended that either you take the restriction valve for the rear or put a bias valve on your front line otherwise you'll have waaay too much braking on the front. i have the same setup (s52 obd2; not that it matters) ; /3

iX / 735i booster with m50 5-series MC (same as iX and other 25mm MC's). willwood bias with bmw flares from IE opened 5.75/9turns.
                    No more e30s for me.

                      Thanks for the info!

Just to be sure, the iX and 735i boosters are the same? (the 735i should be a bit easier to source)

they are ex for the piece that screws on in the back. from my junkyard hunting experience there were a couple more cars (5-series) with these boosters. i have a booster and MC in my garage right now (Fl too) pm me an offer. It was the one from my last (rip) e30 and now my second backup.
                        No more e30s for me.
