Hey what kind of mileage do you get without an engine? I would think it would be pretty good.
ha - dry humor on the internet just don't translate well.

Today, I get negative miles per gallon. Because I'd be trying to push it through the snow, only to slip and fall on my a** and have it roll backwards! Even in the jeep today is the worst driving day I've ever seen in St. Louis.

i guess i will opt to get a nice big fan to replace the aux fan because there is just zero clearance for me to install the 16" fan.

anyone want a 16" spal fan?

why zero clearance? with the mech fan deleted, you should have plenty of space to install a puller. you needed to get the spal low profile straight edge fan though. bimmerworld has them.

thats exactly what i bought man, the 16" ultra thin fan.

the problem is that the fan hits the a/c tensioner pulley or rather sits right on top of it. i would take a picture but its a bitch to get it in there. another thing i realized is that if i were to mount a fan there it would leave me with like 1" to do simple shit like t-stat and water pump. i miss the m42's clearance!

Also a 16" fan will *just* fit behind the bumper.
bit of a dumb question but do you have any recommendations?

how much air do you think the stock aux fan pushes?

haha well this thread is all about keeping the a/c and keeping the motor cool :)
