    Thats what I am trying to ask about, yes I know the 52 has more power but the 54 in my m3 has even more. This is my go fast car that's what the m3 is, this is my project car.

    S52 for the win. I figure if you are gonna spend the money, get the best. If you are doing it on a budget, I'd just get an M52 2.8l and maybe some S50/52 cams.

    I love the S52 torque, but if it means stripping out driveshafts.. that's no good.

    the oil pan is going to be made at MoonLite Motorworks when I am ready, they already have a S50iX. The european stuff is another option but I have not found any solid info on it so I'm not going to deal with trying to find it.

    haha, if my iX is rear wheel drive that means my front drive line blew up. I bought this thing for the AWD and I'm using it.

    s52 obd 1 is a much better route. please dont tell me you're going to be like the last tool on here and convert your IX to rear wheel drive too.
